A space for Ottawa residents, experts, community leaders and public figures to share informed perspectives. Views belong to the identified authors and do not necessarily reflect Eye on Ottawa. All submissions require editorial review.

Contribution guidelines

Identity and transparency: Each article identifies its author, relevant role and affiliations, and material interests. Diplomatic contributors must identify their country and mission and clarify whether they express an official position or personal views.

Accuracy and accountability: Factual claims must be supported by reliable sources and remain subject to verification, correction and our complaints process. An opinion label does not remove responsibility for accuracy, privacy, copyright or defamatory content.

Independence and sponsorship: Disclose relevant funding, sponsorship and commissioned advocacy. Advertising and sponsored content must be clearly labelled and distinguished from editorial opinion. Eye on Ottawa retains final editorial control.

نرحب بآراء سكان أوتاوا والخبراء وأفراد المجتمع والشخصيات العامة. يُنشر اسم الكاتب وصفته وانتماءاته والمصالح ذات الصلة، ويُوضح للمساهمات الدبلوماسية ما إذا كانت تعبّر عن موقف رسمي أو رأي شخصي.

تخضع جميع المساهمات للمراجعة قبل النشر. يجب توثيق الادعاءات واحترام الخصوصية وحقوق النشر، وتظل المقالات خاضعة للتصحيح والشكاوى. يُفصح عن التمويل والرعاية ويُميز المحتوى المدفوع بوضوح. الآراء تعبّر عن أصحابها ولا تمثل بالضرورة موقف Eye on Ottawa.
