Who runs Eye on Ottawa?

Eye on Ottawa was founded by Mubarak Gabaldein, its publisher and editorial contact. Based in Ottawa, Mubarak brings experience in translation, communications and community initiatives.

Our aim is to make local information accessible and give space to the people, ideas and organizations shaping the city. We are building our reporting capacity and welcome story tips, feedback and corrections.

Accountability

Readers should be able to distinguish news reporting from opinion, campaign material and advertising. Sources and relevant relationships should be disclosed, and factual errors corrected transparently. Our editorial standards explain these commitments.
